From the New-York based NGO to the various artisans based the world and connected them to brands!! What a great concept!
Nest is the perfect connector for artisans’s crafts to be recognized and being connected to the international brands ! I came to know about this organization about 6 months ago when I met Sara in Nepal who is in charge of the Artisan Compliance and Programming.
Founded in 2006, Nest is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) committed to the social and economic advancement of global artisans and homeworkers through supply chain transparency, sustainable business development, and widespread industry advocacy. By providing artisan businesses with replicable but also high-impact programs while building scalable solutions to challenges facing the sector as a whole, Nest is creating a more inclusive and circular global economy with the power to alleviate poverty, strengthen families, and preserve endangered cultural traditions.
